GBB director, Paul Filder is to speak at the Shakespeares Motor Claims Day on Thursday 23rd May 2013 at De Vere Venues Colmore Gate Birmingham. The day will bring together a variety of speakers from varying backgrounds who will cover the following topics:

• Post Jackson – where are we?
• MIB claims and article 75
• Beating the fraudsters
• The Ogden Tables – do they mean what they say?
• RTAs and forensic evidence
• ULR and recoveries


Paul will provide an informative talk including real examples and crash test video about detailing benefits of forensic engineering evidence and also the pitfalls and common mistakes that are made by practitioners when considering vehicle damage.


GBB Managing Director Brian Henderson is to present at the MASS Training 2013 Fraud Conference.  The event is described as the “definitive claimant solicitor guide to fraud issues” with advice from first client meeting through to litigation.

The event will see presentations from solicitors, barristers, accident investigators, medical experts and even a defendant perspective too.

GBB will feature on the BBC televisions Claimed and Shamed, a documentary series that casts a covert eye over the ever-growing problem of insurance fraud.

GBB were asked to contribute after they examined a BMW that had been deliberately set on fire.

Claimed and Shamed will air on BBC 1 each weekday for a fortnight from 15th October 2012.

GBB are exhibiting at The Solicitors Group Flagship Event, Law 2012, The Gallery, NEC, Birmingham on 9th & 10th October 2012

Law 2012 is one of The Solicitors Group’s 3 flagship events for the legal profession and will be held for the seventh consecutive year at the NEC, Birmingham.

The event regularly attracts up to 2,000 legal professionals and is widely regarded as one of the leading events for the legal profession.

GBB will be in attendance exhibiting and providing practical demonstrations of the work that we do and the research that we undertake.

In attendance on behalf of GBB will be Operations Director Matthew Stansfield, and Director In Charge of Large Loss Paul Fidler.

This weekend(1st and 2nd October 2011) sees the 2011 ITAI International Conference take place at The Queens Hotel, Leeds.

GBB are delighted to announce that Nick Hoare BSc (Hons), Dipl, (CSE) Dunelm has joined our team of experts.

Nick is based in the Midlands and joins GBB from the Forensic Science Service.  He is a time served vehicle technician and has previously worked as an Accident Investigator with Staffordshire Police.

More recently Nick has been employed as a crime scene investigator with the FSS. Nick has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forensic Investigation.
