GBB can carry out examinations to all types of vehicles including:
- Bicycles
- Motorcars
- Mopeds and motorcycles
- Light and heavy commercial vehicles
- Plant and agricultural vehicles
A vehicle examination relating to Claims Validation can provide the following:
- A full understanding of the extent of damage
- The direction of the impact(s)
- The orientation of the vehicles at impact
- Whether the vehicles actually came into contact
- The magnitude of the collision in terms of the impact speeds, and the vehicles’ changes in velocity as a result of the collision
- Identification of unrelated damage
- Roadworthiness and an assessment of the pre-impact condition
- The heights of damage and features can be determined and compared between the vehicles to help determine whether one or both vehicles were braking at the point of impact
- Details of any stored fault codes in the vehicle’s ECU
- Confirmation of airbag deployment
Following the examination(s) there are two reporting options: a brief non-disclosable letter of advice detailing the examinations and findings or a CPR-compliant report.
