On Thursday 6th August 2009 GBB (UK) Ltd held our third full size crash testing day. The crash testing day forms part of our ongoing research into the effects of low speed collisions.
Our 2009 crash testing was held in association with Sheffield Hallam University, UCLAN (University Of Central Lancashire) and Copart.
Our crash testing centred around accidents involving vehicles (containing live occupants) colliding at speeds of up to 9mph. We also ran specific tests involving wing mirror collisions and collisions involving buses and the effects on occupants of low speed rear end impacts.
Details of the outcome of our testing will be made available at www.gbbuk.com shortly afterwards.
